We are sorry to announce that the Kennedy Equity Youth Model United Nations Conference (KEYMUNC) has been cancelled for the 2024-2025 school year.
We deeply regret that we will not be able to offer this experience, but we still believe that our mission is important, and that Model UN should be accessible to all, which is why we are aiming to host KEYMUNC next year! Our goal is to host a fun, educational, and accessible event, and we believe that focusing our energy on improving KEYMUNC for a greater number of delegates next year will allow us to do that.
Keep a look out for the date of KEYMUNC next school year (2025-2026)!
The Kennedy Equity Youth Model United Nations Conference (KEYMUNC) is a new conference organized by the John F. Kennedy High School Model UN Chapter. As students at a low-income and underrepresented school ourselves, we understand a lot of the financial barriers that Model UN poses for students.
Our goal is to make our conference as low-cost as possible and introduce middle school students to a potential extracurricular without straining their financial resources. KEYMUNC is 100% non-profit and entirely student led.
We are geared toward Downcounty (DCC) middle schools and aim to offer these underrepresented students a unique opportunity.
We post about which schools we're visiting, registration dates, conference information, and more! Follow us at @jfk_mun on Instagram.
